Pioneers of the Diamond - Jackie Robinson & Larry Doby

In 1947, Larry Doby and Jackie Robinson broke down racial walls. These men are the reason why love and identify with the game of baseball. They are examples of those who have taken the road less traveled and broke through barriers within a racially divided United States. Most people can’t even name the first black football player(s) or first black basketball player(s) off the top of their head but everyone at least remembers Jackie.
